Lmao, you guys actually did it. Congrats!

Congrats. UI looks better than other VPN apps.

Just in time for my oversea trip tomorrow. I will be bringing my Apple TV.

Congratulations to all subscribers and me too:grinning_face::grinning_face:really happy

Does the app tvOS app have a kill switch?

The description on the ATV App Store talks about a kill switch, but I suspect it is generic text about the SurfShark VPN, rather than the tvOS app specifically.

I have installed the Surfshark app on my ATV and it looks great, seems to work well, but there is no kill switch option.

Can I stream in-market MLB games on Apple TV with the new Surfshark VPN?

Why isn’t there a list of US servers like the other apps for Surfshark?

Seems to work well if one already has the app installed but I cannot seem to find the desired apps in the Apple Store after logging into the targeted country. For example, I log into the UK via Surfshark VPN and still cannot find the BBC iPlayer on the App Store. Am I missing something?

I’m having sporadic disconnections, always finding the app hung when I bring it forward (“S” logo fails to dissolve). If I force quit, relaunch app, and reconnect, all is well for a day or two or three

Other than that, it’s working well. All my streaming services accept the location, there’s no blacklisting yet. Notably it connects 10x faster than Express VPN and the other AppleTV VPN apps. fwiw I’m using a dedicated IP.

Haha love the poking fun. Thank you for this!! Can’t wait to try it later.

Why would you need a kill switch on Apple TV?

Haven’t tried it this season. But had no issues streaming mlb last year on Apple TV with Surfshark on my router

Hey there, when you select a specific country, you’re automatically connected to the fastest servers available in that country. However, we will take your feedback into account and consider providing an option to select specific cities in the future.

Hi, you also need to change your App Store location so you can download apps not available in your country:

Glad you liked the announcement! Let us know what you think once you try the app ^^

I guess for the same reason you may want one on a Firestick device or similar. The Android TV Surfshark VPN app has a kill switch. The NordVPN Apple TV app has one too. So I don’t believe it’s an unreasonable question.

Agree with the above commenter. Not having the ability to select a specific US server really hinders functionality. So much so I’ve actually reverted back to using my VPN at the router level rather than with the Surfshark Apple TV app.

This is an important feature to have. The Android version has this capability.
