Ok thanks, got this sorted out. BTW, the process looks a bit different on tvOS vs iOS. One also has to change the country location on their apple ID in order to access that country’s App Store.
Now I’m running into the issue of certain apps appear to be recognizing and then blocking Surfshark. I saw the Surfshark support recommendation to change the connection protocol, or change the DNS or disable Cleanweb but those do not appear to be options on the Surfshark Apple TV app (at least at this time). Any suggestions?
It works well! I’m getting almost 200 Mbit throughput on my AppleTV now, pretty amazing.

Yes, I totally agree with you. Maybe it’s an Apple TV thing, because I also have the Private Internet Access VPN and it also doesn’t have a kill switch on the Apple TV app. The phones, iPads and computers all have the Kill Switch with both apps.
Hi. Dedicated IP is available for Apple TV and it will appear in your locations list inside the app.
