I don’t need it for anything fancy. Just torrenting and unmentionable video sites.
My nord subscription is about to renew and it’s a bit too expensive.
I use Nord, got a super nice deal a couple months back.
I’d just invest in the Nord. I’ve been using them for about 6 years now and haven’t had any problems. It works well on my phone, tablet, computer, and TV. If you watch a lot of travel YouTubers you could probably do surf shark. Surf Shark sponsors quite a few YouTubers and you can always get a discount code.
I use ExpressVPN. It works flawless.
I don’t have a recommendation but I had Mullvad VPN for 1 month but couldn’t use it for torrenting. I think mullvad might not work in korea for torrenting. I couldn’t able to find a solution so I just switched to debrid. they’re usually cheaper than VPNs
for videos, there are many free HTTPS apps on appstore. unicorn https is a popular choice.
Pay the money and get a quality VPN, especially if you’re gonna stay in Korea for some time. I remember there used to be some popular ones where you paid like $80 for VPN for life.
Not only for entertainment/pleasure, but also you will have times where you need your host country’s IP to do legal/work stuff
Not even for 18+ stuff, some very benign public service websites – more often in Europe than North America in my experience – are geo-blocked on their end.
My question is, do well-known and popular paid VPNs ever get flagged for “abnormal traffic” or something similar and denied access? Never used any paid version before, but I’ve always wondered.
Unicorn HTTPS. Free and fast!
SpankBang and noodlemagazine are accessible porn sites…if you get really desperate, just use hotspot shield vpn…it’s free. Just watch a 30 second ad for every 15 min you want. Or get the paid version if you wanna extend to something other than your phone
If it’s stuff through a browser, just use Opera browser. Free and using it’s own VPN system for anonymous surfing.
Censorship in Korea? Why?
Windscribe since 2017. Was recommended it. It’s free for up to 10gb of data a month (with limited areas, about one location to access per region, kinda).
It suits as much of a need as i have, but I heard it doesn’t pass all the “Eyes” test, if that’s something you care about.
I use protonmail, so I’ve considered switching to their VPN service, but I’m lazy about stuff when I already have an option that “works well enough.”
PIA. 3 Year sub for 79 dollars. Works flawlessly.
I use ExpressVPN and I only have issues with Hulu for about 2 days after an update, but thats is no big deal.
Windscibe
But don’t really use it much since telegram has mostly everything I need haha
I’m Maha from Egypt and I love Korea so much especially Korean men … so many love from here
I used to use tunnelbear, it gives free 2gb per month to try it out.
Urban VPN. It’s free
I use Surfshark, use on all my devices and low cost. Gets me my streaming
If you have Apple devices and an iCloud subscription, Private Relay will let you access those, ahem, ‘video sites’ (on Safari only as far as I know).
Priavte Internet Access, ExpressVPN, and NordVPN are reliable for torrenting. The latter two can be pricey though unless you find a good deal.
