I used Nord for a long time, I personally had no issues with the vpn side of the service, but it did occaisionally log me out randomly. (Mostly on mobile).

Proton is best during Black Friday sales. It is far away from Black Friday, but you might want to consider not subscribing to services for 1, 2, or 3 years.

Proton is the best free option. Only reason I don’t use it is because I needed something faster and more stable for sports streaming, so I use expressVPN

I went with this in the end, by far the cheapest.

I’m using VPN Unlimited paid.
For free, Windscribe works ok (gets you a 10gb a month if you subscribe to their mailing list, but it’s not as fast and also limited country selection)
