Works for me on Dec update. 7 pro.
Stopped for a day or so, but it’s working now. Pixel 7 Pro.
It’s on and off for me. Literally lol. Probably just the newest beta
Clearing cache in the app fixes it for
It’s not enabled in India right?
I thought it was just me!
I’ve lost internet access for the last week (for the time being) and was using my public xfinity wifi. So I thought it was overuse of it. All of a sudden, it stopped working for more than a little while and refused to come back. For the first couple of days, when it would act wonky, I would just have to keep ticking it until it would properly reconnect and work.
I can confirm the same. Latest Beta seems to have broken VPN
Same here and I’m still on the December update.
Same here… Pixel 7 Pro on Jan update.
So I actually had this exact same issue the other day and contacted Google support about it. The fix that finally worked for me was uninstalling the Google One app and reinstalling it again! Hope that helps
I am on the December update. But for some reason I still cannot access the VPN provided by Google One. Is anyone else having the same issue?
Mine was fine on the December beta but not now…
Same issue pixel 7 pro
Same issues. Force stop Google one, clear cache and data. Try to enable VPN.
Same issue for Pixel 7 base model.
I do get this creepy error when setting up the Google one app:
"400. That’s an error.
The server cannot process the request because it is malformed. It should not be retried. That’s all we know."
Same here.
I can only get it to work by doing this to the G1 app: force stop, clear cache, clear storage, start the app, then start the VPN… then the OS notification pops up… then allow.
But I’m not going to do that every time I restart.
Same thing for me, and I’m on the stable February update.
Same here, ever since I factory reset my Google pixel 7 pro
Asked the Google One support, and here is the reason…
Thanks for confirming. The free Google One VPN for Pixel 7 and 7 Pro will not work if:
The device is rooted
If the device isn't updated to the latest security update
The device's bootloader is unlocked
If the device run a beta or other unofficial version of Android
I believe they want you to pay for it now. I was on the unlimited plus plan and it worked fine. I also had Google one and YouTube premium, with a few other goodies. When I swapped my plan to simply unlimited, it disabled the VPN and won’t let me enable it. It now tells me to check my subscription status .
