Has anyone else had a problem with Wireguard failing to connect on Sequoia 15.1? Whether I use my VPN’s app or the standard Mac Wireguard app I cant get Wireguard to connect to servers that always worked in the past.
Nope been fine before and after the upgrade here.
I have tried on two Macs and get the same result. My VPN provider says they are aware of a problem and are “patching” their app, but that does not explain why the standard wireguard app will not connect.
Flawless here. Wireguard app and any other vpn services I have installed.
Ich hatte keinen Datenverkehr mehr bei aktivem Tunnel (vpn.ac) nach Aktualisierung auf MacOS 13.
Nach Aktualisierung auf Sequoia habe ich einen neues Schlüsselpaar erzeugt und Tunnel gelöscht sowie neu importiert. Seither läuft’s wieder. Firewall nicht aktiv.
Any update on here?
I’m using my personal VPN server with wireguard but after Sequoia update (15.3.1) my VPN connection dropping in few seconds and trying to do handshake again but even if it handshakes again there’s no data transfer.
I have a question to friends who is using their own VPN server: Did you do any change on your vpn server?

Wireguard is a VPN - don’t really understand why you would be using a another VPN to connect? I am using Wireguard on Sequoia 15.1 with no problems, connects instantly.
Must be something with their profile. My personal Wireguard server and profiles work just fine. It’s only when I use my VPN providers profile that no data passes. It connects, but no data.
My VPN provider lets you use their App or you can download a profile and use the Wireguard for Mac app if you don’t need all the extra options the VPN provider offers.
If is exchanges handshakes? Can you see active connection on the server?
I have no insight to their server. Just to be clear, I use Keep Solid VPN Unlimited as my “commercial” VPN provider. They support multiple encoding schemes including Wireguard. I also run my own personal Wireguard Server at my home so I can remote into my LAN or use my server as an exit node back to the internet.
My personal Wireguard server and profiles work. VPN Unlimited profiles and their servers all over the world also worked until I upgraded to 15.1.
Now the only codec that works using them is OpenVPN. Even IKEv2 no longer works.
Ahhh. I mixed up a bit then. Anyway. I’m using PIA which is using WG too and I never had problems with it on OSX.
The only difference between my profiles for my server and the ones I get from them are they also add a preshared key line, my profile does not use preshared keys
