I’m trying to setup the Premiumize VPN through OpenVPN on my phone! I’ve downloaded the .ovpn file but when I open the app and look for it through the file system I can’t find it! Has anybody had this problem before?
Edit: didn’t extract the files!
The .OVPN will be saved to your compressed folder.
OpenVPN directory is probably pointing to your downloads folder.
Change the directory on VPN client or move OVPN files to appropriate file directory
Do you have file manager on your phone?
Did you get sorted yet?
I’ve moved the file to internal storage > download.
Within the apk it starts at "Location: /storage/emulated/0 I then select downloads and nothing is there!

Yea I sorted it, extracted the files! Rookie mistake but, I won’t be the first and definitely not the last!
My next task is setting it up on my Nvidia Shield, I’m sure it’ll just be a very similar process though!
Is widevpn reccomened over OpenVPN? I’ve never used either before! My ExpressVpn is running out and I’m in two minds wether to renew or not, it’s been great for me and never let me down! Will the Premiumize VPN be able to effectively replace it? It would save me about £80/year also!
Try to select file within file manager and “open with” OpenVPN
I think I need to do some research on VPN protocols!
