Trying to set up VPN for qbittorrent app

So I have installed qbittorrent and I can download files perfectly. I now want to add vpn to the app and I added the glueton config according to the instructionsfor my vpn provider:

- VPN_SERVICE_PROVIDER=private internet access

- OPENVPN_USER=abc

- OPENVPN_PASSWORD=abc

- SERVER_REGIONS=Netherlands

However upon starting the app I am not able to download anything. It just says downloading but never starts.

Anybody have any advice?

What do the logs inside the app say?

Make sure you set the tun0 in connections, too.

I got it working now. IS it possible to specify the protocol? I want to change to udp. I see there is a field for a configuration file. Is it posiible to mount a file using udp to the app?

All great questions. I don’t use gluten, I still use the deprecated wireguard. Hopefully someone more familiar knows this and will answer.
