Trick I just used to watch the Olympics for free

I’m in the US not sure how this will work elsewhere. Peacock does not have a free trial. But Peacock is included in instacart+ which does have a free trial. And also doesn’t require a credit card to sign up!

So go to instacarts website(can be done on a computer), sign up, then you’ll get a popup for the instacart+ trial. Hit that button and it signs you up instantly. And now you can get on Peacock so load it through through instacart site first to make sure it’s all good and then when your Peacock is all set you can use any Olympics links to Peacock.

This is soooo easy I got on in less than 5 mins and no credit card required.

You can also VPN to Bangladesh where everything is free on olympics.com (same commentators as peacock). I know it’s random but it totally works even for replays!

you still have to pay to watch olympic content on peacock. might as well just pay the 7.99 for peacock and avoid the instacart process

I am based in Ireland and wanted to watch India vs Germany Hockey Semi-Finals. This worked for me.

Im gonna try this today . Its messed up how you have to pay now to see the Olympics. If that’s the case then some of those profits should go to the athletes who sacrifice so much in order to entertain all of us.

Ah crap! I have Instacart+ for free with my credit card as a perk and paid for peacock :frowning: thanks for the heads up, I’m going to remember this for the future.

How is the cancellation process with Instacart?

PSA: If you’re in the US and have Xfinity, don’t subscribe to the 2 year free Peacock service as it’s very difficult to cancel. Unless you wanna go through the hassle then subscribe.

I reactivated my subscription just for the Olympics and mainly just to watch US men’s basketball and sport climbing. I’m gonna cancel it before it renews.
