我是一个来自中国的威少球迷，威少是我接触篮球、接触NBA的起点。我看的第一场NBA比赛就是2014年西部决赛第四场，威少用40+5+10统治了帕克，扳平了系列赛大比分。我对于这个运动能力极强、打球富有激情的球员印象深刻。
威少陪伴我度过了初中、高中和大学，现在我即将大学毕业了，但喜欢威少却越来越难以说出口。在中国，湖人和火箭是球迷最多的两支球队，而威少刚好在自己的下滑期去到了这两支球队。2019-20赛季他一度打出了MVP级表现，但是新冠肺炎终结了一切，整个2020年季后赛他打得像一坨屎；去到华盛顿后他用疯狂三双把球队带进了季后赛，但仍然有大量中国球迷不喜欢他，觉得他的数据都是刷的、没法成为争冠球队的核心。
然后他来到了湖人。现在赛季已经打了一半了，无数中国球迷把威少归咎为湖人战绩不佳的唯一原因。作为威少球迷，我无力去辩解争论任何事，只能期待他像去年、前年一样在全明星后爆发。但现在什么都没发生。
我认为威少需要找回他的精神力。他必须放下顾虑、不去想那些外界的批评，做他自己。威少的比赛从来都是高风险高收益，你不能指望他像保罗一样打球，场均10个助攻2失误，那不是他。
威少这段时间很显然受到了舆论的影响，他开始犹豫，然后越打越垃圾。湖人想让他做24分钟勒布朗或第二个勒布朗，但现在他啥也不是。
AD回来湖人当然能好很多，但威少到底能不能破除心魔才是决定湖人上限的关键。
I am a Westbrook fan from China. Westbrook is the starting point for me to contact basketball and the NBA. The first NBA game I watched was Game 4 of the WCF in 2014. Westbrook dominated Parker with 40+5+10, tying the series. I am very impressed with this very athletic and passionate player.
Westbrook accompanied me through middle school, high school and college, and now I’m about to graduate from college, but it’s getting harder and harder to say what I like about Westbrook. In China, the Lakers and Rockets are the two teams with the most fans, and Westbrook just went to these two teams during his downturn. He had an MVP-level performance in the 2019-20 season, but the COVID-19 ended everything, and he played like a piece of shit throughout the 2020 playoffs; after going to Washington, he used a crazy triple-double to bring the team into the playoffs game, but there are still a large number of Chinese fans who don’t like him, and feel that his statistics are all brushed, and he can’t become the core of the championship team.
Then he came to the Lakers. Now that the season is halfway through, countless Chinese fans blame Westbrook as the ONLY reason for the Lakers’ poor record. As a Westbrook fan, I can’t argue with anything but expect him to explode after the All-Star break like last year and the year before. But nothing happens now.
I think Westbrook needs to get his mental power back. He has to let go of his concerns, not think about those outside criticisms, and be himself. Westbrook’s game has always been high risk, high reward. You can’t expect him to play like Paul, averaging 10 assists and 2 turnovers per game. That’s not him.
Westbrook was obviously influenced by public opinion during this period of time. He began to hesitate, and then he became more and more rubbish. The Lakers wanted him to be a 24-minute LeBron or a second LeBron, but right now he’s nothing.
Of course, when AD comes back to the Lakers, it can be much better, but whether Westbrook can break the demon is the key to determining the upper limit of the Lakers.
