Hey, Instead of this becoming a long post. What’s the best VPN from the ones in the title?

I mean NordVPN costs £116.74 for 3 years. I have to pay £22 VAT. Normally without the VAT it would cost £94 ish.

Express VPN costs £82.23 for 15 months

Without VAT, you pay £12 ish extra and get 21 months of service extra.

With VAT, you pay £34.50 ish extra and get 21 months of service extra

My point is NordVPN offers extremely low prices and is value for money, however it is significantly slower compared to ExpressVPN

Nord recently released the NordLynx protocol which is faster than any other protocol that they offer. You could check it out if you haven’t tried it yet. They do have a refund policy so there is nothing to lose. Not sure about ExpressVPN though, never tried using them so cannot really suggest anything.

ExpressVPN logs your activity and NordVPN doesn’t.

That’s a pro for Nord depending on what kind of person you are.

Edit: I realize I answered your title but your post is mostly concerned by speed. If you only care about speed, as other mentioned, you might get good results with NordLynx (personally I don’t notice any real difference, but YMMV).

For me Nord was faster for me than Express VPN before they added NordLynx protocol …Every person is going to have diff results. You may find Express to be faster on your end but on my end Nord may be faster.

Just go with whatever you feel comfortable with

If you’re an advanced user, in that you’ll make use of the multiple protocols available and have use-cases for more than the basic functionality included in the provided application, go with Nord.

I bought ExpressVPN just because it’s easier for an end-user, but found that it offers a fair bit more too.
EVPN also offers firmware for some routers that’ll connect all devices connected to the network to the vpn, which I use.

I think Nord is a little faster, but the latency is negligible with ExpressVPN in comparison with no VPN whereas for me personally, NordVPN is a fair bit higher.

This comment hits the nail exactly on the head, the new nordlynx protocol is extremely fast, some people claim it’s even faster for them that way than without vpn (due to isp throttling)

Pretty sure nord offers the router setup as well, I think I’ve gotten an email specifically recommending that lol

They offer router setup in form of OpenVPN on OpenWRT/DD-WRT.
Express offers full cfw as well as OVPN on the previously mentioned OSes

Well hopefully we get nordlynx on routers soon, then I might actually consider doing it since that pretty much doesn’t decrease ping/latency for me
