So, i just tried the hide.me VPN.
I just used ./install.sh and follwed the insructions.
The next commands were systemctl enable hide.me@amsterdam-1
& systemctl start hide.me@amsterdam-1.
At some point following this, I think i have closed the terminal window and broken something.
I have used the ./uninstall.sh file provided, but I am still unable to connect to any websites.
The net is provided via my phone over wireless teather, and is all working and connected.
Okay so I had the same issue after using an OpenVPN service, it turned out to be a DNS issue. I manually added nameserver 8.8.8.8 and nameserver 8.8.4.4 to my /etc/resolv head configuration file.
Still a noob, this was on Ubuntu, and idk if it’s the same as your distro.
Thanks, i will try this later today.
Seems like i only learn when i break things xD
Yes. Sry.
Its fixed. Thank you, I need to learn more about connectivity.
And i need to stop breaking things xD
You’ll break stuff
It’s normal
