Mozilla VPN port forwarding?

Cannot find it on their suppoet page, so it is probably a no.
But just to be sure: do they offer port forwarding?

Lol you’re getting downvoted lmao … Interesting

Same conclusion, which is surprising because Mozilla VPN is Mulvad, and Mulvad obviously offer port forwarding. Bought a one year package a few months ago, I chose Mozilla to support the fundation efforts, but it is clearly an inferior product as port forwarding is a must have for a VPN. Please correct me if I’m wrong

Answers my question I geuss lol

Port forwarding is very useful, but it is also exploitable. There is a vulnerability whereby someone on the same VPN endpoint as you can determine your IP address. For this reason, lots of VPN providers have disabled port forwarding, for the security of their users.

However, some people really want that feature. So I think it should be available for them. Just hidden behind certain unlocks that make the risk clear to the user.

Proton VPN has it. And also comes with simple login (email masking) if you get the higher tier. Simple login operates their own servers (I believe Mozilla uses Amazon ses) so imo a better deal overall in terms of privacy and features

Edit: noticed you’re already exploring their services :grinning_face_with_smiling_eyes:
