MacOS 13+ not working with EmoryUnplugged

Does anyone have a similar problem where EmoryUnplugged is connected but does provide internet access to MacBook? I have the antivirus and installed clearpass and no addi prompts popup when connecting to EmoryUnplugged. Still doesn’t let me use the internet.

this isn’t a solution but does eduroam not work either?

Force quit clearpass and all related processes. That fixed it for me.

My son doesn’t have a MacBook but was recently having a connection problem and a problem with the VPN. Double whammy. Took the computer to woodruff for tech support. They said they can no longer help with EmoryUnplugged because many people are having issues. In the end he needed many a reset on the network connections and to uninstall/reinstall the client. Then all worked well. I don’t know if you are on the Clairmont campus but he was also told there are known connection issues there.

From STS: Some models and some systems with M1, M2, M1 pro does not work on Emory Unplugged. We set a notice by the station. Eduroam with netid and password might work. If you register your device’s Mac address on my.emory.net you might experience same quality of wifi in dorms without registration.

When that noice in the station is gone, you may go and ask the issue. The problem is most likely not related to any OS, but more likely than with chips. Some windows machine also reported this issue, most likely due to new systems.
