Issues with MacOS 13.3.1a and Azure based Client VPN

Has anyone run into this issue recently? Some of my clients running Ventura 13.3.1a cannot use their Azure based VPN client which runs natively under System Settings > Network > VPN rather than a 3rd party app/prgm. The behavior you click the toggle switch under System Settings > VPN and it immediately (less than 0.5 sec) toggles itself off without any pop-up or error.

For troubleshooting, I’ve already confirmed the same username/password combo works on a PC using built-in Windows VPN client. I’ve run wireshark and the packet capture shows the client communicating with the Azure server IP but then it just stops: no errors, no red text, just stops. There is no authentication attempt on the Azure servers, be it success or failure.

Has anyone else seen this? I don’t have definitive proof that it is MacOS 13.3.1a but all of the endpoints are on this MacOS and that is the only unifying factor. Is there a way I can engage with Apple support

After contact with microsoft support, Installing rosetta2 manually solved the issue for me:

In a terminal type:
softwareupdate --install-rosetta

Yeah got the same problem, on my old Mac the same thing works like a charm, but on my brand new Mac it does not :frowning:

Can you link me rosetta2? Appreciate it

Thanks, this solved it for me on my first Apple Silicon mac with Azure VPN Client 2.5.3, Entra ID auth.

Use the command

softwareupdate --install-rosetta
