Hi guys, I’m from South East Asia and I’m having pretty high ping while playing warzone (150-200ms). I’m thinking about purchasing a NordVpn subscription to lower the current ping. However, I read that some users are unable to find matches with VPN. So I wanna know your opinion here before subscribing to any VPN services.

VPN isn’t going to magically improve your internet connection.
ExpressVPN works for sure. But in most cases you won’t gain much in ping. Maybe 20-30ms if your provider has poor international connections.
Unless your isp routes your data poorly, a VPN will only increase your ping
Ping depends first on your Internet provider. If he hasn’t good servers or the nearest server is far away, your ping is bad. VPNs can’t help with that. They do not increase your ping in general, as someone said. I use Nord for Warzone and there is no difference in my ping when I switch it off. But, it depends on how far the next VPN Server is away from you. You may have to try out Nord, Express or maybe a local VPN company form your area and see, which may can help you. Most of the VPNs have a free trial or a “30 day money back” thing.
Keep in mind a vpn even the best ones will add latency

Expressvpn is a bit out of my budget, I also have 5-10% packet loss which is very noticeable, does vpn help with packet loss?
