I swear, this bug has been a thing for so long now with no fix to it from Hulu. For those of you that have been lucky enough to never encounter this error, let me explain what it is real fast. Basically, this error pops up on a web browser, when you try to start an episode of a show without finishing another. It won’t let you more than 15 seconds into the show, and the worst part is that, for instance, let’s say you want to restart a show from Episode 1 Season 1. You can try that, but if you watched half of an episode in season 5 without finishing it, this error pops up. It has become very frustrating considering how often it happens now and how long it’s been a thing.
Have you tried going to the show’s landing page, then click on Manage Series, then Remove From Watch History?
I think it will then ask you to confirm that.
What browser are you using? IME that error comes from Edge after they changed some rendering thing (don’t remember what it was called, this popped up sometime last year)- you either need to turn that setting off or just use a different browser if you are on Edge.
Do you have sound booster extension on your browser?. I get it only when I turn up my sound booster on my extensions over 100%

I’ve been having this problem for a year when trying to watch live TV on my phone. Have called up 6+ times and none of them have ever fixed it. Bought a new phone and still the same issue. I’m going mad.
I have tried that, but it still does it even afterwards. The only way to fix it on PC is to use the app instead of in a browser for me.
Primarily Chrome above all else, although I have tried it on Firefox and Edge.

Chrome and Firefox are good… And all three give the error?
Yes, sadly, I used Chrome primarily before, but when the error began, I tried using Edge and Firefox, but receive the same error on those. The only thing that works for me now is using the app, or starting the exact episode from my phone and opening it back up on my pc.
