Hulu when you use a VPN
I am out of the country for work and Hulu is blocked here…
That’s why you don’t use a VPN that’s advertised. They know their IP ranges and flag them all.
Especially Nord VPN they spend more on marketing than security.
And this is why I pirate.

It’s IPVanish, generally, it is pretty good at bypassing these kinds of checks (if you mess with the settings) but not for Hulu I guess.

I’ve been using nord for a while, and sure there’s an occasional inconvenience but netflix, disney plus, prime and iplayer have all been fine.

Nord wasn’t hacked, one of their hosting providers left a vulnerable remote management system in place. is it ideal? No. Does it point to a systemic problem with Nord? Also no.
Since I don’t use Finland to access any streaming services, that’s a resounding “meh” from me. Everyone has a different use case for their VPN needs. Would I use Nord for super sketchy stuff? No, I’d self host on a server that I could rent using monero. Am I happy to use their low prices to watch TV I otherwise couldn’t? Yup.
I think that when a company product is good enough, they can advertise it. that case the product they built over the past years is very good so that is not shocking to see them advertising it.
Plus, why could a company retrain itself from growing and expanding? That makes no sense.
It’s more appealing than ever. If you want to watch every show that you want you have to have like 4 streaming services. It’s bullshit.
Wait, I don’t get it. You pirate because they take measures to stop piracy? Are you saying you do it because you enjoy the challenge?
I don’t mind paying a reasonable price for something I like, and I think it sucks when they put up a bunch of roadblocks to make it more difficult for me to enjoy what I’ve paid for, but if those roadblocks exist to stop people from stealing what I’m paying for then I don’t blame the seller - I blame the thieves.
My vpn will bypass on netflix luckily.
Not for Hulu. It’s a bit different. It just doesn’t work with 99% of vpns, they really don’t want you using one.
I’ve tried a lot of stuff (using IPVanish) simply does not work.

what about cyberghost? Looks like a good vpn. Pricey, but they aren’t involved in cheap practices.
