So I decided I should probably get a VPN that seems secure. I got the app for this and got the 7 free day trial put on my account. The things that worries me though, it that I might get charged once it expires. And if I do, how would I be able to remove the free trial off my account? I’m new to this and I’m not sure how anything works.

Once the trial expires, you are reverted to the Free plan with access to Free servers in the US, Japan, and the Netherlands. There is no duration limit for the Free plan. If you need access to more servers and features except for the Free ones, once the trial expires you can upgrade your ProtonVPN subscription.
