Mullvad customer service:
We’re having some backend server issues which affects the regeneration of WireGuard keys on your device.
This means that when the Mullvad app is trying to regenerate the WireGuard key (which it does automatically) it can fail.
It should work for everyone once the API catches up in the next hour. Sorry for the inconvenience.
Same here on Android.
Same here on Android. On Windows I had a couple of times an “API unreachable” error but I managed to log in, on Android nothing to do.
Same here stopped working last night on my Nvidia shield. Works in windows
I have the same issue!
Edit: Now it’s working again!
See which key that device is using and delete it
it’s a wireguard issue apparently, i contacted them about this yesterday, issue generating keys
They’re having API problems, they’ve provided a temporary workaround that works for me, try this:
Install the plain Wireguard app, you can get it on the Google Play and iOS App Store. Now go here: Using WireGuard on Android then choose your platform, click generate a new key, if you have 5 devices already then delete one in the Manage keys drop-down box, select which locations you want (I just selected all servers), hit generate and download configuration. Now go into the Wireguard app, press the plus button, click “import from file or archive”, point it to the zip file you downloaded earlier, then it should have all the servers imported. Click one and it’ll connect you to that server.
Now that you’re connected, if you go to the Mullvad site, you should be able to login with your account number, manage devices, add time to your account etc. Hope this helps.
(sorry for multiple edits, very late here!)
