Can someone help me out with redownloading TikTok? (If it still works)

My TikTok ended up becoming offloaded on the “fateful” night of 2/2/25. It seems I forgot to turn off “Automatic Updates”. Same thing happened to my CapCut.

So I followed the steps of method 2 from this website: https://cybernews.com/how-to-use-vpn/how-to-bypass-tiktok-ban/

Basically I already created a whole new Canadian Apple ID and I’m using the VPN app “VPN 360”. It has a 7 day free trial. I also set my payment info and details with Canadian info, such as the city and address. I turned off location services, turned off my WiFi and I’m using Cellular Data. I went into the App Store and attempted to reinstall TikTok only to be greeted by this message.

I’ve seen people commenting as recently as last night that they’ve been able to redownload TikTok. Am I doing something wrong? Please help. I have an account with 16.4k followers and I just recently returned to posting again.

There’s r ways to do it look it up, I saw a tiktok video about it (genuinely not making a joke , but ofc it will be on other platforms too)

No, you use the sideloadly app on your pc or mac. Google. The software is free.

Make sure your VPN is active and connected to a Canadian server. Before turning it on, search “What’s my IP” on Google and note the number. Then, connect to your VPN, search again, and confirm that the IP has changed.

I tried the “what’s my IP”, connected my vpn and it says “Ontario”. Yet when I go to the App Store and try to download TikTok it still says it’s unavailable in my region

Oh wow. I’ve tried the method, turned off Find my and the location services, and even have the same app the kind lady used. It won’t work for me. I even resetted my phone 5 times and have airplane mode turned on

I see you’ve created a new Apple account, which is likely causing the issue. Do you still have your old or original account?

If you created a Canadian Apple account without blocking cellular and network data, your account will be restricted from accessing apps in that region. This system is designed to prevent users from purchasing apps at lower prices than their region permits.
