Blocked from accessing certain sites

I’m having major issues with my AT&T fiber blocking me from accessing my works websites I’ve been talking to AT&T and my work and both of them are blaming each other but the issue just started recently and we have had the internet and used these sites all year until around September this has started. I can access these sites from my hotspot or any local internet in my area just not my internet it seems to be black listed or something of that sort with my internet has anyone else experienced something like this. Also everything else works like it’s supposed to just my work websites are blocked.

What exact error message do you get when you try to access your work website?

It could be active armour that needs to be turned off. If you have the smart home manager app on your phone, turn it off in the app and then see if that fixes it.

do you have another router between your computer and the gateway?

Sounds like your job’s web server(s) are the issue. Maybe they have some firewall blocking your IP address or other configuration issue.

Just for giggles. Can u log into the att RG and disable ipv6 ?

You probably got flagged by a 3rd party security (CloudFlare, Akamai, etc.) company for passing traffic that was considered malicious.

Give us some IP addresses to check.

Somebody here recently complained about web sites not loading and it appeared to be CDNs (content delivery networks, AKA edge caches) not routing correctly. I’m seeing that now too with Reddit content at Fastly. Fastly is resolving to hosts behind the severely congested Twelve99/Telia network.

I’m having issues as well starting this Sunday the 1st. Throughout the day I keep losing access to a bunch of the same sites which is also impacting my ability to work as my employer is one of the sites impacted. Seems like they’re having some major routing issues. I can’t even log in to ATT when this happens but sites like Reddit work perfectly fine.

The issue happens four to five times a day and lasts for about 20 minutes each time.

Turn off ActiveArmor regardless of what the techs tell you, it does absolutely nothing to protect you and just breaks stuff. It is honestly ridiculous how they offer that service, let alone enable it by default.

Your iT dept at your job needs to remote with your laptop to configure ports

Sounds like a port forward issue

As an installer I would schedule a service call and have the tech move you to different splitter at the pfp it can sometimes take a hour or 2 to do . Some techs refuse to do it . Just keep scheduling services call until it’s fixed . You will become a chronic and your local management will be involved . As it will hurt their bonuses .

This website is unavailable.

I did but I’ve unhooked it since this has started occurring and we have gotten a new router from AT&T aswell and that hasn’t fixed it either

How would I do that?

I believe this is one of the ip addresses I used the website in who.is and this is what I got from the dns records

Has the issue been resolved? We are experiencing a similar problem where we are unable to access AT&T, and other websites.

It’s not activated at least not on the app unless it’s on without me knowing they have told me about that but they said that was a issue a while ago and it’s been fixed since.

Splitters have nothing to do with whether websites are blocked or not, this sounds more like OP has activearmor turned on and it’s actively blocking the site
