Really respect Mullvad for their strong privacy stance and transparency in the VPN market. They typically avoid big sales and stick to a flat rate.
With Black Friday and Cyber Monday coming up, I’m curious if they’ll maintain this approach? If anyone has info on Mullvad’s plans for the shopping season, please share.
I want to get a subscription, but don’t want to see it reduced next week!
Edit: There’s no Mullvad BFCM deals. But there is a good thread of companies that do participate here: https://www.reddit.com/user/give_me_the_tech/comments/1817too/vpn_black_friday_deals_reddit_recommends/
From the f.a.q. (https://mullvad.net/en/help/faq/):
Do you offer discounts or have sales?
“We never have sales, but accepted cryptocurrency payments are discounted at 10% due to lower fees and less administration. Visit our pricing page for more info.”
Mullvad doesn’t do deals. its $5 a month now and forever.
Mullvad doesn’t really do these kinds of discounts to my knowledge.
Mullvad famously has a one flat price model. I highly (>99%) doubt they would do a special sale around Black Friday. Don’t get your hopes up.
don’t worry, it will not be reduced next week, or next year…
I want to get a subscription, but don’t want to see it reduced next week!
As others have said I can’t see how Mullvad COULD do a BF deal. 5 euros a month for everyone - I (in the UK) pay £40 a year and get max 1Gbps speeds. I personally think I should be paying MORE. If there is ever a BF deal I won’t be taking it.
This should be the top comment, thanks for clarifying!
Best you are gonna do is an annual card which is like few bucks less than monthly
Let’s see about that forever… Inflation is hitting hard in all the markets…
Why is that not possible? my ISP here in the UK has never done promotions and has 3 tiers - everyone pays the same price and they have been like that since 2004.There are no stupid new customer offers. .so if Inflation was going to affect them it would have done many many times before.
