Reviews are all over the place, even with sites like G2 and TrustRadius. Does anyone use these products? I’m currently selling ThreatDown, but I’m interested in learning more about BitDefender. Which do you guys like better and why?
I have used both products. I would personally say bitdefender is a more rounded product. I only look after 200 endpoints. So take it as you want. Bitdefender portal is a bit of a pain, but it is what it is. Alerting i setup to email our help desk.
I occasionally use threatdown as a periodic scanner if something strange is going on. Then uninstall it.
I would say get threatdown / bitdefender via pax8 so no minimums if you wanted to test them.
Once you have a good few endpoints shop around for the bitdefender bundles. You can get better pricing.
BitDefender for us - solid platform, maybe not as feature rich as some others, but very reliable.
I’d go with Bitdefender between those two. I’ve been using Datto EDR+AV for a while, and it’s really good—definitely worth considering
Bitdefender has been 100% solid of us for a long time. It has a much larger learning curve than other endpoint securities, but it has far more features and better aligns to a zero trust security posture.
I will admit my personal bias and age here, but I see MalwareBytes as the freeware tool it started as. I’m sure it is much better than that now, but probably not enough. Name change doesn’t inspire either.
Thanks for the information.
I did search and it seems that the opinions are all over the place depending on what site you look at.
