For some reason after using bottom toolbar browsers, I just can’t go back to ones with top toolbar/address bars.
Samsung internet is there, really smooth with a decent adblocker. But for sync with PC you need to use their web extension, kind of does the job.
Bromite, but its updates are here and there. The official one hasn’t been updated since last year, but one of the devs is actually keeping it up to date under the name Bromite Build Tools.
Kiwi is slightly behind on Chromium updates their GitHub version is much closer. Basically does everything Firefox Android does. That is extensions are available.
Another option would be Brave. I can’t vouch for Firefox and its forks as I was never a fan. Edge is only decent compared to its PC counterpart. Opera is good too, the normal one the gx android version just exists for the heck of it.
Brave seems the best to me. It is fast and has a really good adblocker as well. You won’t miss uBlock Origin on Firefox much with it. I am using it in my phone and PC both. Working fine on both without any issue.
The main issue for me with Firefox was that few sites worked fine only on Chrome or Chromium browsers. Also, most websites are optimised mainly for Chromium browsers, so the experience isn’t always the best on Firefox.
I have seen few people saying how Brave writes a lot of data on your SSD which can reduce your SSD’s lifespan though. And the part where they said it writes a lot on SSD seems fairly accurate in my case (it wrote about 1.6 GB in an hour). However, I have to test Firefox again to be able to compare both.
I recommend trying out Edge. The new features added to the browser alongside the UI redesign, and the sync features (which some others lack) make it really great to use, on Android and PC. It has a bunch of other really useful features aside from the basics and runs faster than some others.
Hey guys you MUST TRY Stargon, it’s the best option for blocking annoying ads, it definitely blocks everything not like that useless brave, Firefox, and opera.
based-firefox core browsers now are slower on modern webs dominated by google chromium, but i keep mull browser on phone (mainly accessing web from desktop browser)
