On my iPad, I use Adblock Luna to block ads in the YouTube app.
It’s been working fine for several years now - apart fron one brief period last year when ads started to appear again. It was fixed within a few days.
Unfortunately, today I noticed that the ads were back. Could you please fix this ASAP?

To my knowledge it was working fine until maybe a couple hours ago. Now it doesn’t work at all. Last time this happened I resorted to just buying a month’s subscription to YouTube Premium but I don’t want to spend any money so I’m stuck with fucking ads again.
This happens more than you think. Most of the time it only lasts an hour or so, so people don’t notice. YouTube changes their ad serving and it breaks Luna until they tell it how to deal with the new ads. Just be patient, they’re working on it.
Ditto. The app started to crash on me everytime I tried to open it.
Same here. My AdBlock Luna profile has been working flawlessly for 4 years now and the last 2 days it doesn’t work anymore. Reinstalled the profile and signed in and out of YouTube-which usually always fixed it but I think YouTube found a way around it ughhh!! I’m getting 5second shippable ads at the beginning of videos though not the 15 second ones in the middle of them so I think that was the comprimise. Hopefully Luna comes up with a patch soon
Me also. Ads have been showing up starting last night. Please fix.
FINALLY. I’m very happy to note that as of last night, Luna started working again. It’s now blocking YouTube adverts like a champ. No re-installation required.

This happened to me last year. I’m not exactly sure what happened, but I thought that YT put something out to foil Luna AB; then it started working one day after I rebooted my phone after an update. I have also noticed that if I update YT, it stops working; but I found that if I reboot the phone right after the YT update, Luna AB starts working again. Side note: I have no computer or phone special tech stuff, but I’ve heard about the possibility of a security risk. All I’ve ever had to happen is a big influx of crap/spam mail. But I now have a second VPN besides Luna AB- it’s your regular high-security VPN, and I switch it on unless I want to watch YT. Is this an absolute? I hope it helps… 
Yeah still not working for me in YouTube, it’s been since Feb 26

As of right now Luna is working for me. I wish it work for Facebook ads
Hi OP, Adblock Luna has now been updated to restore adblocking on YouTube! You do not need to re-install the VPN for the update to be in effect. As always, feel free to reach out to us if you have any further questions or concerns.
