YouTube TV Not Fooled by LA Servers

I’m trying to make YouTube TV work on W10 using both the Firefox extension and the Windows app, setting my location to Los Angeles (my actual location), but YTTV isn’t fooled by any of the LA servers. I’ll almost always appear to be in Seattle (my YTTV “home” location), or in a completely different location altogether - in the last few days I’ve appeared to be in San Diego, Milwaukee, and NYC.

I’ve only spot-tested some other server locations, but both San Jose and Bend work as expected. Does anyone else have this problem? I’d love to get my actual local stations.

I thought you had to change your “Current playback area” in settings (YouTube TV)? This is what I do when I travel.

That’s definitely right, but for whatever reason the Current Playback Area always reverts to the “home” (Seattle) market when using the Los Angeles servers. Works every other time, but never with those servers.
