I want to cancel but no one responds to emails. What’s up with this?
If you wish to cancel the auto-renewal, you can easily do so by selecting the “Cancel subscription” button in your Proton VPN subscription Tab. By doing so, you will get to keep the plan and use the subscription until the plan expires.

i was struggling a little with it too. i found how to do it after a while.
if you made the subscription on your mobile phone through google play store, all you have to do is:
google play store> your account top right> payments and subscriptions> subscriptions> select subscription> cancel.
