TunnelBear was never that good to begin with. Been with PIA for about a year and have had nothing but good experiences with it. Best VPN/proxy service out there for the money.

Now uninstalling tunnel bear, I will never support anythink owned by McAfee.
I’ve used PIA for over a year and couldn’t be more happy with it. Also it’s only $7 a month or $40 a year.
I am the sucker that those guilt trips work on.
I still can’t forget how I left my bear “starving to death” a while ago, when my subscription ended.
So to be clear. Did tunnel bear cancel it’s sponsorship or did LTT end the relationship because now Tunnel bear will be subject to US data retention laws?

Why would TunnelBear sell to McAfee?! They know how much the enthusiast PC community (probably most of their users) hate them…
I can’t imagine an amount of money that is worth being dropped by not only LTT, but their community too.
Also who knows what could have been with Floatplane?! So many users, TunnelBear could be the official VPN of Floatplane. That would mean a lot of money.
It just makes no sense to me.
