Windows 10- Trying to set up my VPN

Hey all. I have a VPN account set up. However, I haven’t been able to figure out what values need to be entered into the VPN settings to get it to work. I have watched the youtube assortment of videos and read the product website finding them to be either too vague or extremely convoluted. Windows itself gives error messages that uses terms like “IPsec negotiation” and “L2TP/IPsec tunnel”. Windows Settings asks for a connection name (WTF is that?), server name (again, WTF?), user name & password (which I think I know), and VPN proxy settings. Where do I find those things?

In other words, this is far beyond my knowledge base, although the sites I have visited for help seem to imply that it is easy and self explanatory. Will anyone out there give me some assistance in getting it set up properly? The company is Keepsolid VPN Unlimited.

As far As I can tell. Keepsolid VPN comes with it’s own apps for Android, iphone and windows 10. Which means you don’t set it up in windows 10 VPN area, but installs keepsolid software, puts in your username and password, and you’re golden.

Who is your VPN provider? There is a difference between a VPN and a Proxy a lot of people get them mixed up >!learn more here (VPN vs a Proxy)!<

My personal experience with the IPSec and IKEv2 protocols is not the greatest, my goto for secure and >!semi-!<fast protocols would be OpenVPN or Wireguard.

Edit: Never heard of KeepSolid however reviewing their Privacy Policy doesn’t spark “security” to me >here (Privacy Policy)!<
