Basically I’m in America but I want results from places like India/Middle East. Will changing my vpn help me see those type of videos? When I search on YouTube I only get results in English/from English speaking people if that makes sense.
Google is pretty smart, they use other ways to determine your location. A VPN alone might not work the way you want it to.
You should be able to if you open an incognito window. It hasn’t saved any cookies nor has your YouTube login information. It would be like a clean plate.
Arent the results based on your Google account anyway?
Vpn will help, but you need to know that your footprint on your google account has a role to play on what pops up for you
If you use the app the most likely answer is no. If you are using the incognito mode on a browser the answer is yes.
Do u have any other recommendations that will help?
So I should change the location of vpn to India and then use incognito?
Am I able to change my google accounts location/language settings? So that I’m able to see the Indian videos
Yes I tried using a new gmail account and only searching on YouTube for Middle East videos
I think only in Google pay you can change. But not sure how many times
idk how no one said this but yes, you can change the location by going on YouTube, then on the right where it shows your profile icon click your icon, and then Clicking “Location”, then change it to any country and you’ll get videos from that country (if you want to see if it works check the trending page)
Use native language key words on your search. It helps…for example… type: “kotlet” and see the results
Thank you very much!!
But using vpn would also work too right? I haven’t been able to try yet because I’m still trying to convince so I can get it
My VPN is 24/7 online and I have only my personal suggestions not based on VPN country
