Where to watch in Canada?

Where can I watch/stream games in Canada? I know last year it was included in TSN+ but haven’t seen any confirmation it’ll be included there again.

I can see the Battlehawks on Fox this Saturday! Just through my Telus optik.

It’s really a shame that they didn’t bother licensing with TSN or DAZN. Last year I could watch every XFL game on TSN+ and a selection of USFL games on DAZN.

Guess Canada / international audiences just aren’t that important to the league :man_shrugging:. Shame they don’t want to grow the international fan bases.

FYI, OP, you should use the search function. This question has already been asked within the last 7 days.

Normally the ESPN games are on TSN and the TSN+ app, however, I also noticed it’s not listed on the TSN schedule.

If you’re outside the US, best legal option is USTVNow.com.

It’s a LEGAL way to watch the games, the one-day pass is 4 USD or something

Why is it legal?

While the channel advertises to be for US Military abroad their terms and conditions DO NOT REFERENCE ANY OF THAT and basically EVERYONE can subscribe (both “legally” and “technically”.

Your next best option would be streaming apps + a VPN.

The ESPN games you can use a service like Youtube TV in conjunction with a VPN to stream the games and get access to all of the channels the UFL is going to be shown on (i.e. ABC, FOX, ESPN, ESPN2, and FS1).

I’ve never used Sling TV or FuboTV, but those are other options to access all of the channels that the UFL will be broadcast on (you still need a VPN though to get around the region locks).

If you don’t have a VPN, ExpressVPN or NordVPN are both good options that don’t cost a ton (VPNs in general are also useful beyond just getting around region locks for streaming services, such as protecting your IP and browsing history, so I would recommend using one in general).

The only other option is piracy. There are sports streaming sites out there where you can watch the games live for the channels you don’t have. I’m not going to post any names for obvious reasons, but that’s about it as far as options go in Canada.

Hope this helps.

Yeah it’s a strange oversight. Only options for Canada this year are either using VPNs in conjunction with apps like Youtube TV, or watching a pirated stream. Same goes for Europe and everywhere else outside the US. At least in Canada most of us can access the ABC and Fox games but it’s still annoying.

No but some of their programming is included on TSN+ in Canada

What about the fox sports app

Doesn’t seem like it but a quick Google search shows you can get it with a VPN so that might be an option

FYI, if you’re going to have to use a VPN, you might as well get something like Youtube TV and then you can stream ALL of the channels the UFL is on (ABC, Fox, ESPN, ESPN2, and FS1) rather than paying for both the ESPN+ and Fox Sports app (which is only available in the US anyway).

Won’t take billing info from Canada bank or credit cards. Need a zip code connected to card. Trying to subscribe to Youtube tv, won’t let it happen. So how can you use a VPN if not subscribed to watch, makes no sense

Someone a week ago posted a better option for everyone watching internationally.

If you’re outside the US, best legal option is USTVNow.com.

While the channel advertises to be for US Military abroad their terms and conditions DO NOT REFERENCE ANY OF THAT and basically EVERYONE can subscribe (both “legally” and “technically”).

If you use that service, you should be able to get the channel you need to watch whichever game you’re looking for.
