Stay away from nord vpn. I would suggest PIA , proton or even tor
PIA VPN, been using them for 5+, years never had any issues.
I like ExpressVPN, but it depends on which services you are trying to reach, as some will block known VPN endpoints.
NordVPN recommended. Some sites, countries will block known VPN servers, so you might need to consider paying extra for a dedicated VPN from the same service. Test it first with a free trial

Idk, certain sites are blocking my homestate like Pornhub. I’m not really concerned about that, but I’m worried that other sites might be blocked here too.

I’d suggest maybe trying some that have a trial period so you can test if it works for the sites you need or want access to.
The main thing I’d recommend is checking what their reputation is for providing a service that doesn’t record any logs. That can help in the instance that the authorities suddenly try to charge people for circumventing the laws they have put in place.

Just stay away from the free ones, they harvest your info. That’s why they are free.
