What's a VPN Replacement Rollout Look Like?

Say I have a ~200 person org where everyone is using a current VPN, and I get Cloudflare Access for a VPN replacement

Do people typically have everyone switch over from the VPN to access immediately? Or a phased rollout? Curious what this might look like in the real world for anyone who’s done it or seen it.

You can test out the Cloudflare VPN with a bunch of power users like 2 to 5, test out all the functionality is working as expected, post which you can start rolling out gradually team by team.

Not ideal but you should be able to run the Cloudflare Access alongside your existing VPN as well but setting it up might be difficult and doesn’t make sense since you will already be moving over completely to Cloudflare

Cheers, thanks. So I’d just remove the VPN for a few power users, and put the WARP client on their computers, and then have them run?

yeah just replicate all the configurations from your existing VPN to Cloudflare and then have them turn off the existing VPN and use WARP to start testing
