I’m trying to watch some Netflix Japan shows and I keep seeing that literally all the vpns are not working. Are there any working ones currently?

I use WeVPN, it works for about 20-70 minutes at a time before Netflix gives me a VPN error message. All I do is turn the VPN off and back on and then reconnect to Netflix and it works again.
Are you there for specific shows just to watch in general or are you studying Japanese? If the latter:
I just gave up after trying Nord, Windscribe, WeVPN and some others I forgot their names. Sometimes they do work, but yesterday I snapped after trying to find a server for 50 minutes.
Netflix honestly won this one for now. Just cancelled my Netflix sub and went back to Crunchyroll+custom subs to study Japanese.

NordVPN is back to working!! In fact, it’s so good right now that it’s in HD with Squid Game using the Japanese server!

Is WeVPN working for you right now? Doesn’t seem to be working for me. Just says netflix refused to connect.
It might be a bit too late, but one thing you might also need to do is clear your browser cache if the VPN isn’t working. I had to do that to get WeVPN to work
NordVPN has had plenty of issues for months now
No… I tried an hour ago and couldn’t get it working. Looks like I jinxed it. Hopefully it’ll work again soon.
Did that a lot (clearing cookies/browser stored info), with multiple VPNs, alongside trying private mode, fiddling with options, trying multiple servers, etc.
It’s not that it didn’t work sometimes, but the more time passed the more annoying and time consuming it became, to the point I spent more time trying to make a VPN work than actually spending time watching something. That’s when I quit.
Appreciate your input anyway; maybe I just had bad luck and this can help somebody else. I’ll just move on from now and check back in 6 months or a year to see if stuff has improved.
