I’ve been connected to two different home wifi networks and am unable to connect to my work hotspot. It will connect when I’m connected to my phone’s hotspot. I’m using an M1 Mac on Sonoma. IT isn’t sure what to do. Anyone have any tips? 
Make sure that your vpn gateway is not the same as your home’s. For example, if the office network is 193.168.1.x and the gateway (firewall) ip is 192.168.1.254 and your home wifi has the same ip scheme and same gateway ip then you will have issues like accessing the internet or accessing certain websites.
I’ll take a look! Thank you! The funny thing is I can connect on an older PC I have but won’t work on Mac.
So if you are using a Mac then you’d have to use Mobile Connect, is that correct? Things on Mobile Connect vary ever so slightly than NetExtender, which is why I was asking.
Does mobile connect give you an error or does it connect but you can’t get to the internet?
Connects but can’t get the internet.
If you can run the following two commands in a terminal while connected to the VPN and network that doesnt work and post the output. This network info should help us decipher why it can’t connect.
If you want you post it, you may want to use a private note app like https://vanish.so so it disappears and no identifiable ips are visible to the public.
ifconfig
netstat -nr
