VPN resists deleting

Hello dear community.

I just wanted to start PureVPN on my laptop, the VPN I’ve been using since this November (seemed to be good value/money ratio for my purposes). But nothing happens, even when I click on “Run as administrator”. Then I wanted to uninstall the app, but nothing happens when I go to Settings->Uninstall Apps&Features either. I ran a full scan on WindowsDefender, but it didn’t find anything. What could be the problem and what could be the solution?

PS: I’m a complete computer rookie, so forgive me if I don’t list necessary info directly, I’ll try to add it when I realize it’s important.

I had exactly the same problem with PureVPN. I’m not 100% sure anymore, but I think I was able to fix it by simply reinstalling the App without prior uninstalling it. So maybe try it by downloading and startin purevpn_setup.exe.

Use a program that you can download that is used for deleting applications

Did you install it from the Microsoft Store or from PureVPN’s website? If the latter case, open file explorer, use the search box in the top right to type “PureVPN”, select everything, and delete. For extra measure, empty the Recycle Bin and then restart your computer.

Thanks, that was the solution for me :))
