What happened? Is the promotion not available yet or what? 'Cause I really want to transfer my smurfs to Japan to test the ping etc. but I dunno if it’s a bug or anything. Did this happen to you too guys?
It’s not a free transfer.
it’s not live yet, it’s open beta, and they said it would be IP locked to nearby countries due to thats how most JPN online games goes there.
If your reason to transfer to Japan is “test the ping etc.” then, I’m glad, this server is region locked, and people like you aren’t able to play there!
btw only people living in Japan are able to transfer there free
For those guys who can’t read Japanese, it says that JP server locks the IP from nearby countries etc:Taiwan China and Korea. You can always hop on to JP server from NA or EU without using VPN. Tested yesterday can confirm. The funny part is that there is probably more foriengers playing there than local ppl.
Okay, so will it be live before 13th? What’s your guess.

Why is “testing the ping etc.” a bad thing?
Whoever keeps posting that it’s because it’s in open beta is wrong. It’s only free if most of your games in the last year have been played from Japan. Otherwise you gotta shell out 2600 RP.

It’s not a free transfer. You have to have played most of your games between the first of January and the 22nd of February in Japan in order to get a free transfer.
So silver scrubs in NA can finally get gold in Japan.
You don’t need to play the game in X country to check your ping to this X country servers! I thought everyone knows that… I was wrong it seems.
