Hey everyone, So I’m kind of stressed right now. On the commonAPP, it kept saying that everything is due on 11:59 PM on MY timezone. I submitted my supplementary essays like 3 minutes ago exactly on 11:43 PM Nov. 1, 2019 (CENTRAL TIME) for early action UChicago, but when I checked it again to see the submitted folder, it said it was submitted 12:43 AM (EASTERN TIME) on Nov. 2, 2019.

I don’t know what to do anymore… anyone got ideas?

Chicago explicitly states in the commonapp that

Don’t panic if you have difficulty submitting the application and it goes through after 11:59 p.m. We want to review your application, and will not disqualify you based on the timestamp.

so chillax, don’t stress. good job on submitting your app!

The same thing happened to me but for Cornell. I also had a vpn on so maybe its something to do with that? But I got a confirmation email thats dated on the 1st so maybe u have proof anyway
