Finally!!! Today I downloaded the beta version of tvOS so that I could see how the vpn worked. All I can say is that it works! I didn’t have any issues. Right in time for football!
I can get rid of my fire sticks now.
I am still waiting for an EXPRESSVPN app for tvOS!

If it consistently beats MLB.tv I’ll be impressed. I haven’t found anything that beats that for more than a day or two

So I install the TestFlight and connect to a regional VPN (I’m an eagles fan, so something in Philly / PA I would assume) and then open whatever app the game is being live streamed on and it’ll pick up that areas games instead of the commanders in my area?
Cheaper than YouTube’s NFL price gouging and more reliable than the high seas stream!
Nice, but you could always do this with a firewalla or any decent router - select devices to be behind your vpn.

I downloaded tvOS 17 beta and I searched VPN and nothing came up.
Is it possible to push a config file to the Apple TV just like on iOS, or does it only work with an app?
i just updated to the TVOS 17 RC on my apple tv 4k 1st gen (A1842) but i checked the app store and there isn’t any vpn apps.
So the VPN works right inside the Apple TV Box? Oh that would be so nice if it makes it out of beta.
