Is the $10 a month VPN service at the router level or is it just an app you install on the phone / computer? Thanks for your time.

Judging from the videos that Frontier uploaded in YouTube regarding their added security packages, I would say they’re all apps that you install either on your phone or computer. I don’t use the eero router they provided but I know some routers have the capability of setting up VPN within their configs as I did with my Deco mesh set up

I’m pay monthly for NordVPN and I have it set as a VPN on my router (UniFi cloud Gateway). From there I can set what sites I want to go through it, or if I want a specific vlan to always use the vpn or even a specific device

Yeah I was expecting as much. Thanks for the info! I may buy a separate router that can do VPN and plug it into the modem and use it for specifics.

Thanks for the info ! I have Windscribe. I plan on getting an additional router soon and use it specifics

Total Shield is what Frontier sells as package for $10 to be added onto your service… so they’re not lost.
