Quite some years ago i got a subscription via vpn through turkey. never had issues.
Today i logged in and it says my subscription got cancelled.
I never did it myself and if i check my last invoices it says i should have access untill the 28th of february.

Same issue here, my subscription got canceled today. I subscribed from turkey and and I use it in the netherlands. I received no email about my account being canceled. I called up the support team and they told me they suspected me of fraud and they had to cancel my subscription

Was able to reactivate with gift card, but there is a region lock in place now. Let’s see if it disappears…
Same situation here, cancelled. They are working from a standard formula when you contact support. Actually this has made me re-evaluate whether I actually need Netflix anymore. I think people who wanted it cheaper would not have paid full price anyway.

Can someone explain? I hear people talking about netflix and Turkey and VpNs. Does it work better that way? I haven’t had any problems using my US account.
Using credit cards makes it easier for Netflix to trace and purge accounts. It’s better off with gift cards even though it’s a hassle, because gift cards are the only thing they can’t trace back to the origin country of purchase, even though there is streaming without VPN thing.
Will resubscribing with giftcards engage the geo lock?
For everyone who’s subscription got cancelled, please provide more details. Did you pay by credit card? Gift cards?
My geolock is lifter after a month like others said. And I can still watch. Paying from my dutch credit card
So is it worth it to try to get a Netflix account in Turkey with a vpn? Would it be better to use a gift card to get one vs a credit card

Same here, got my subscription on my argentinian account cancelled two or three days ago.
Won’t return.
They removed my card and wouldn’t let me add a new one without a Turkish phone number. Gift cards are working fine for now though. No need for a vpn when watching, just when adding the gift cards.
Something tells me the Netflix VPN party is over.
