Steam game prices (EA FC 25 in this scenario) vs average salary in european countries (2024)

…And?
Valve doesn’t set the prices, the publisher does (EA in this scenario).

“People” who buy fifa every year deserve to get ripped off

1.984€/month in Spain? we wish.

Black Ops 6 is even more expensive

So what you want Steam to do about it that has no say, or control what EA does for setting their prices on THEIR games?

on the other hand, a lot of people who buy FIFA every year buy very very few games besides that

Except for those in yellow and red, you are good, you cannot complain about anything, you are just spoiled.

If they decide to “Fix” this tell them to also fix SA price

I would like to know who did that graph. 3200 euro average in northen Italy? What the fuck are you smoking?

Are you trying to send a message here or something?

Really really wish they had regional prices for poorer euro countries. People in Portugal should not be paying the same for a videogame as the people in Germany.

Poland is the richest country in the world, confirmed by EA.

That’s why I’ve always been angry with the regional prices. How come Eastern Europe gets the same prices as Western Europe, but the Turkey prices were 5-10 times cheaper. Never seemed fair.

People from countries with lower income complain that they can’t afford games and should get lower prices, but I’ve always been on the opposite side - how come they get the same product for way less than us? We can’t afford games either. And to see Americans scamming the system with VPNs, that’s just pathetic.

Would? With the amount of predatory microtransactions they already do and would pay 1K without questioning it.

Thing is people who buy FIFA every year often don’t buy many, if any, other games. So 70 Euros to be able to play a game for a year with your friends isn’t that bad. It’s just different to people who play a lot of other games who have a different perceived value of the game.

That’s the thing. They can’t set the price per country. They can only set a price for the entire EURO zone.

I can’t afford food or rent, but I still need to buy the latest yearly EA turd

That is not possible while Portugal is part of the EU.

I mean, games being $70 in the US is sometimes still a lot. Maybe not, relative to other prices, but for the cost of other things, yes. Besides, doesn’t Steam ban accounts that VPN switch to get better prices?
