Solved! The solution provided fixed my issue. Hy guys, I’ve been having issues with using the proton vpn app for a while now. The issue i have is at login, when trying to input my credentials the ui of the app just blinks and deletes every character input, so i can’t really login to use my vpn on my mac. I’ve tried troubleshooting myself uninstalling and reinstalling the app, bar refreshing of the mac system. I’ve even contacted the proton support with no actual solution. So I’m turning to community for some input now. Has anyone else had similar issues and how did you solve it? My computer is m1 mbp running on the latest 15.1 os and the proton vpn app is also the latest version 4.4.0. Tnx for reading and your input.

Thank you. Apart from what was already suggested to you in the support ticket, as a workaround please try clearing your application data for Proton VPN and if this doesn’t help, try resetting the Keychain:
- Press CMD+ Space (search bar will appear)> type Keychain Access> press on the lock in the corner (in order to have administrator privileges)> in the same window search bar type- “VPN”.
- Right click and choose Delete all the files related to Proton VPN, OpenVPN or Tunnelblick. This will delete remembered passwords for connections that you had with our servers.
- After all of this try connecting again, it should prompt you for your credentials, keep in mind that it may also ask for your Mac’s user account info too.
