Proton VPN in Windows does not connect due to government block, but Proton on the router works perfectly. Why?

Proton VPN WireGuard and Open VPN protocols are blocked by the government but Proton on the router works perfectly with both protocols.

1- Just curious, why the router connection is not affected by the block?

2- I know it is on the way but must say: stealth protocol in Windows is much needed.

Same exact situation with me.

Router and Android works fine. On Windows client it fails to connect always, I can’t figure out why.

AFAIK if it works on the router, it should work on the devices connected to that router.

Did you try the same server ?

I tried many many servers in both Windows and the router.
