Poco X3 Pro Battery after more that 3 years of use. Should i Replace the Battery?

Before charging i was using wifi

How do you check the capacity ?

I’m genuinely asking, was your bluetooth connection doing anything or just sitting “idle”? Because modern bluetooth shouldn’t even consume 1% of your total battery with normal usage. I have my bluetooth on 24/7 because of fitness tracker + headphones and it really doesn’t impact battery life. What about wifi/data though? BT can interfere with those and poor connection might actually drain your battery quite a bit. I’ve had this happen in certain areas where my signal was being interrupted by BT and it resulted in about 1% dropping every minute instead of around 5 minutes lol.

Dude you have more vpn time than anything else. Of fucking course it’s heating up

Vpn is the reason of heating

I would say before purchasing a new battery you can try a hard reset or even a custom rom

There are other “better” methods… But when I was repairing my phone I unplugged and plugged the battery connector back; The flex cable, then after a couple of reboots, I let it charge to full capacity.

It won’t go beyond 80% when charging, I also used battery checking apps to confirm it’s not some kind of software issue. I’m currently using LineageOS on my X3 Pro

I’m no expert, just bringing it out there…

O, didn’t know that. Problem being that I have a bus to go to school and I can’t really do anything about using data because of that. Most of the time the Bluetooth was connected to my earphones and I was using data. But like mentioned, I can’t do much about data.

Now I understand why the battery life was so bad

I can’t guarantee that it was the exact reason as I’m not living in your exact circumstances, but I would at least give it a shot next time just to rule it out
