Per-user cost for VPN connections?

I think I know the answer already but wanted to ask here - on the VM100 virtual appliance, is there any type of per-user or per-connection cost (one-time or annual) for GlobalProtect VPN users?

Our equipment is colocated in a data center and they provide a “managed” VM100 firewall as an edge protection device. The device is dedicated to our rack of equipment and I can login to the admin interface with read-only access. They are charging $X per user per month for “VPN licenses” and I am like 98% sure it’s just a made-up fee.

vm-series and hardware has no per user vpn cost. just a yearly subscription for globalprotect if you need to use mobile devices, HIP checks or other advanced functionality. Prisma Access (SASE/Cloud delivered VPN/ZTNA) has a per user cost.

Not enforced from the vm100 but how your mssp makes money…Prisma access because it’s saas charges per user

Does PANW still sell/support traditional appliance based Globalprotect? I thought they were pushing all business to GP/Prisma Access.

It is absolutely supported and will be for all foreseeable future.
