I was wondering if anyone else has the same persistent problem I do with the Peacock app?
After I installed the Peacock TV app onto my Apple TV from the App Store, the following happened:
— The Peacock logo appears on a black screen
— The screen then shifts to a screen showing a sad cat with a message reading the following: “Something went wrong. Peacock is currently unavailable. Please try again later.”
— After I press MENU to go back from the “Something went wrong…” screen, the six colored dots appear, jumping up and down. This carries on indefinitely. One time I left this screen on and going just to see how long it would last, while I did things around the house. It lasted for more than 20 minutes with nothing happening. The dots simply kept bouncing.
I have not tried playing any content, because it’s not possible. I cannot even log in. As soon as the app launches, I am sent straight to the “Something went wrong…” screen.
I’ve deleted and re-installed, I’ve pulled out plugs for the TV and the Apple TV box, I’ve cleared cache, you name it.
This is my Apple TV information:
— I am using an Apple TV (32 GB, 4th Generation, Model # A1625)
— The Apple TV tvOS is 16.3.2
— The Peacock TV app version is 4.3.12
If anyone has experienced this or has found a fix, I’d appreciate hearing.
I have this problem also. I tried signing out on all devices from the desktop site. Unplugged everything and still having this issue. It did work on my iPhone but not my appletv. Can’t seem to find the fix
Edit: I spoke with customer service and after rebooting my wifi, deleting and redownloading the app, it still didn’t work. They escalated my case.
I was able to get it to work in my smart tv. But so annoyed it’s not working on AppleTv.
This has been happening for me and according to my devices page I haven’t been able to sign in on the Apple TV since February 16. All of the resources online simply recommend deleting etc. I have uninstalled the app and reinstalled it on my Apple TV, done a force sign-out of all devices, etc and still nothing. I am able to use it on my phone and our iPad which are on the same wifi network as the Apple TV. Just curious, which internet provider do you use because we recently got T-Mobile 5G internet and I’m wondering if it is some kind of port or firewall configuration that is blocking the TV’s connection.
I’m trying to watch twisted metal but I just got kicked out for no reason and when I try to go back in it tries to start and I get a yellow loading circle in the middle of the screen and get kicked out to the menu screen. It’s only happening for twisted metal. I can watch all other shows.
Hi I know this is a older post. But I recently like as of yesterday that I know of cause that was the first I tried using my Peacock since the last wrestling ppv. But on my PS4 I can’t play any WWE ppv’s it pops up an error code and takes me completely out of the app. I try the same exact ppv on my phone works perfectly fine no problems whatsoever but go back to the PS4 and I get the error code and kicked out of the app. I don’t understand. It seems to be only WWE part. I tried watching other videos and they would play just fine but then go back to WWE part of the app click on a ppv I get error codes and kicked out but yet it works on my phone I don’t understand it. Anyone else having these issues
