Hello guys, i’m new and i’m struggling downloading the PC SEA version of Counter Side, i tried vpn locking my antivirus but nothing seems to work, my download block always at 10% and don’t seem to go any further… If someone can help me with it thanks and have a nice day!
Have you tried waiting for a bit of a long time? Probably about half an hour. Your internet is working fine right? Have you tried downloading other things? Have you tried checking your internet speed?
Check task manager for internet speed. Either your internet is slow or your disk is slow
Just wait a bit or quit and restart, at some point it’ll work. I have a very good fiber connection and I often have issues on patch day with CS
Try using a different browser, when I tried downloading the first time in chrome it wouldn’t start until I used edge.
There is a pc client? Where can i find this?
Oh you are from discord right. You can try to run it from main exe file not from pd launcher that how my problem was solved.
Try clicking “Integrity Check” then reopen the game. This was how I fixed this issue the last time iirc.
Try delete the COUNTER_SIDE folder inside C:\Users\YourID\AppData\LocalLow\studioBside
I have the same issue, impossible to update the game, even tried to redownload it from their official website but the download fails every time. I was able to play on PC client and mobile since launch just fine but the last update broke something for me as well (I am also from France).
The only thing that worked on my side was using Bluestacks (with LD Player the game would not update either), but sadly it constantly crashes leaving me no option but to stop playing the game for good.
It pains me since I invested a lof of time and money in the game and my account was pretty stacked, but that’s the gacha life for you.
I have a fiber connection my disk still have 200gb free space on it, downloading other things are fine just Counter Side seems to struggle, i did everything use a VPN Mute my firewall and antivirus nothing seems to work.
I waited like 20 minutes-ish, i’ll try to wait longer but i don’t think it will fix anything, but i’ll try that

It could also be due to long distance from the server although Idk where you are from. Does the download keeps on progressing but little by little or completely stopping? Does it give an error?

It stopped completely and i’m from France so yeah that might be the case the distance, so i have no choice than waiting for global to hit.
Comment ça le pays est trop loin comparé aux seveurs SEA ?
Have you tried waiting for awhile since it could also be possible that the app is extracting files after downloading the first batch. I suggest trying to download overnight and see if it gives an error or maybe even finished downloading.
