Fuck NordVPN. Absolutely trash customer service, really shady practices… They take features away if you cancel auto-renewal.
Any short thoughts on ExpressVPN? Using surfshark currently as a budget option, but the subscription will run out soon.

I haven’t made a review of NordVPN for a long time. So this is an update. Out of some of the last 10-15 videos or so, only 2 have been about Nord, and both have been very critical and honest. I think that is a decent blend of content. I’ve also reviewd BytzVPN and CactusVPN which are virtually un-reviewed anywhere else.
I would suggest watching the videos before making a 4 paragraph comment trying to tell me what kind of videos to make. This video is more or less the same thoughts as I’ve always had, that NordVPN is a decent product (perhaps moreso in 2021) but not highly rated in my tier list due to a poor reputation I’ve observed and their refusal to make any changes I’ve requested (getting rid of countdown clocks, making the pricing transparent, etc).
Repetitive? Perhaps. But that is generally what happens when a youtuber makes 850+ videos on one subject. I think of my channel primarily as a gateway for new VPN users to find a VPN, and once they do, most stop watching since I’ve helped them and they can be happy. I’ve tried branching out to other forms of content, but it most likely would require a brand new channel and at least 6 months to 1 year of effort to change the YT algorithms mind on what viewership I get. It’s not worth my time. I would rather stick to my niche and expertise, then pursue hobbies and other interests in my free time.
I make videos about popular VPNs (these get the most views) as well as unpopular ones (which I try to encourage people to support)–and giving my thoughts on both, that is how the channel has always been.
protonvpn is very expensive, and so is mail for what u get. you get less connections and less speeds than my tier 1 options.
i would encourage you to try other options if u have free time, u will not only save money, but also gain speeds + features.
AFAIK it was a test that there were running and they canceled it. Apart from that I heard only good things from them and nothing wrong with their customer service, at least on Twitter where they reply fast!
most of the vpns are the same at the end of the day…
the things u need to look for are which is cheapest and offers u the same features.
does expressvpn work fine? Sure. but its expensive, and u dont get much more for what u pay.
this is why i recommend torguard, and wevpn mostly. both are 1/3 the price of competitors and offer the same if not better features…

I don’t understand the cost thing. This sub is called NetflixViaVPN. For Netflix you recommend the Tor streaming bundle. That costs $121/year. Nord costs $59/year. That’s 2x, not 1/3. What am I missing?
